Reporting to the CEO, the Executive Manager Operations - North, is an opportunity within Activ to provide leadership to the operational teams within the Northern regions of WA. This position is to enable the delivery of high quality integrated services that provide sustainable customer outcomes and drive growth in line with corporate strategy.

Executive Manager Operations North, is accountable for providing leadership and guidance to the business on best practice operational models that will deliver sustainable high quality outcomes for customers and deliver on long term corporate objectives.

This role regularly communicates with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, including the Board. This position also requires extensive communication with external stakeholders, which include government bodies, corporate partners, customers and family members.

Key duties include:

• Leadership & People - providing guidance & leaderships to ensure Operations teams meet their targets of quality outcomes for our customers
• Achieving Operational excellence for each region - Business, financial and community risks are minimised.
• Strategic & commercial management - Active participation in organisational strategic plan development and delivery
• Driving financial performance -  ensuring financial goals and objectives achieved on a monthly basis
• Customer & Market Management - driving customer relationships & implementing best customer practices organisation wide.  

What you need?

• 10+ years experience in leading a business at a senior executive level involved in strategic financial management, planning and execution, policy development and change management.
• At least 5 years experience in managing large teams in the disability sector demonstrating skills in capability development, performance management and workforce development.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining organisational transformation programs.
• Demonstrated experience in dealing with Federal and State government and industry bodies.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with demonstrated ability to make commercially sound business decisions preferably within a not-for-profit organisation.
