About the role:

Serco is seeking an experienced ITS Operations Lead play a key role in ensuring that all services delivered within the contract meet objectives by ensuring processes, applications, software, interfaces and associated infrastructure are fully implemented and maintained up to and beyond the contract go live.

The ITS Operations Lead is responsible for the day to day management and ongoing support of IT solution based on the agreed contract deliverables with the customer. A key function of this role is to be involved in the transition-in phase of the services ensuring the implementation of the Salesforce solution meets the contract requirements and there is an effective operational acceptance process developed during transition.

In this role you will function as the Salesforce Administrator ensuring all the standard processes are established and maintained. The role will also have responsibility to ensure all IT services are maintained with the support of direct team members and the broader Serco ITS team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of the Transition team and ITS Program function to deliver the ICT components under the transition plan that has been agreed with the customer.
  • Ensure that the solution and technical specifications meet the customer requirements.
  • Delivers all standard operating procedures (SOP) required for the ongoing management and support of the IT services within the contract
  • This role includes technical design/development, configuration, maintenance, administration and integration of the Salesforce platform
  • Serves as primary system administrator for the Salesforce solution with 300+ users
  • Handles all basic administrative functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks for Salesforce
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepares for upgrades to Salesforce and other integrated applications
  • Develops Operational acceptance criteria and ensures these are met prior to handover to support
  • .

Key Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Information Technology, a related discipline or demonstrates appropriate experience.
  • Significant experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Demonstrated experience in IT Operations, Applications or Service Delivery
  • Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder or Certified Advanced Administrator
  • ITIL certification at foundation or practitioner level Experience in managing third party vendors
  • Ability to have Australian Police Fingerprint check and sign a Deed of Confidentiality

This role is a full-time opportunity and is based in Melbourne for the 2018 year and in Ballarat from 2019 onwards.
