An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Manager Business Services to join Isaac Regional Council’s Water & Wastewater Directorate, based in Moranbah. Reporting to the Director Water & Wastewater, this position is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Business Services stream of the directorate, as well as building and sustaining strong and constructive relationships with domestic and commercial water customers, internal corporate service providers and industry regulators. The role is also responsible for identifying and capitalising on opportunities, partnerships and initiatives that will have benefit to Isaac Regional Council and enacting applicable content of Council’s Community and Corporate plans.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Management Accounting, Business Management or a related discipline;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience at Local Government management level or management experience in a similar role;
- Knowledge and experience in the development, implementation and reporting requirements, including internal & external auditing processes, for an Integrated Management System (Safety, Environmental and Quality);
- Proven experience in Account Management/Customer Interactions and industry regulators over time;
- Demonstrated leadership and achievement in managing and motivating staff teams and developing an integrated team culture;
- Strong track record of regulatory and legislative compliance;
- Queensland ‘C’ class driver’s licence.
