The Role
We are seeking an ambitious, passionate and results driven leader for the position of Director Employment Services. This position is accountable for the strategic, operational and financial management of all services within the Employment Services portfolio; covering a number of programs including jobactive, Transition to Work, Work for the Dole, ParentsNext and YouthPath.
The position has three management level direct reports which form the employment services senior management team and an indirect responsibility for a workforce of approximately 120 employees.
Selection Criteria
To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following experience and abilities:
- Leading and managing the operational and financial performance of a multi-disciplinary business; preferably in the not-for-profit sector.
- Previous experience in managing the requirements of complex program contracts focused on performance-based service delivery.
- Ability to think strategically to foster new ideas and innovative business solutions.
- Managing complex requirements of key stakeholders groups to ensure highly effective relationships.
- Effective communication and relationship management skills, coupled with a collaborative and influential leadership and management style.
- Ability to clearly articulate a vision to inspire workforce engagement and maintain a high-performance culture during a period of transformational change.
The successful person will have achieved a tertiary qualification in Business, Behavioural Sciences, or related discipline. Previous experience with a jobactive employment services provider is highly regarded but not essential.
