Having recently reviewed and further developed a comprehensive risk and compliance framework for our Airfield operations, we are now seeking an experienced Compliance Manager or Senior Compliance Advisor looking for a next step up, to deploy our framework and continue to integrate compliance systems, and drive our compliance culture. A systems, processes and culture orientation will be integral to the successful fulfilling the requirements of this important Airfield leadership role. This position reports to the Airfield Manager, and works with a large team of office and field based operations employees, and other key stakeholders, including CASA.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implement and integrate Melbourne Airports operational airfield compliance program Lead and motivate others to engage in the implementation and integration of compliance systems and processes - bring people together and lead a compliance function in a complex operating environment
- Provide accurate, timely and fact based evidence and advice for operations
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Ensure compliance documentation is developed with an oversight and coordination of the Annual Technical Inspection (ATI)
- Support the broader operational team develop business cases and prepare and deliver budgets through customer focused plans
- Undertake accountabilities as highlighted in the Airport Emergency Plan and CMP
- Strong technical capability in compliance frameworks, implementation and governance of compliance systems, ideally within a
- Aviation industry experience is preferred, however candidates with solid experience in similar operating and regulatory environments will be considered
- Strong written and verbal literacy, to understand complex documentation and develop written materials and reports to high standards
- Prior experience in managing or supervising in a risk or compliance function, or readiness to step up into an influencing and leading role to deliver results
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Must be able to obtain and hold an Australian Security Identity Card (ASIC)
- Must be able to obtain and hold a Level 3ME Airside Drivers Licence
