The Organisation
Our client is a large health and community organisation delivering a range of health and support services across Melbourne’s CBD, northern and western suburbs.
They strive to strengthen community and make a difference to the lives and well-being of people, particularly of those who experience stigma and the risk of marginalisation. They create impact through a powerful combination of advocacy, innovation in service delivery, and partnership with consumers, communities and other stakeholders.
With a large number of sites, they provide a range of vital local health and support services. These include medical, dental, allied health, mental health and counselling, as well as many specialist health services.
The Role
The Executive Director, Corporate Services is a pivotal role within the Executive Team. The successful applicant will provide strategic and operational leadership of the Finance, ICT, Decision Support, Infrastructure and Property Services, and Governance Support functions of organisation. The role will lead Managers who are supported by dedicated, business partnering teams across all of these functions.
The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting with CA or CPA status and senior executive experience. They will demonstrate significant experience in leading the financial and corporate support operations of a large, multi-service and geographically dispersed organisation.
Experience gained in a health or not-for-profit organisation combined with a business partnering approach and a system improvement orientation is essential.
