My client is a major global organisation that specializes in Automation, Electric & Energy management related services & products. They are an industry leader with an exceptional reputation and solid history in Australia.

They have always held a very strong presence in Australia spanning back well over 30 years, their head office is in Sydney but they have regional offices within all the major states. Due to sustained growth and an internal promotion they are actively looking for a Senior Portfolio Delivery Manager – BMS & Construction to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You would be an experienced leader, clearly demonstrating success in a key leadership role with strong employee engagement and mentoring skills. 

• Coach, lead and develop a team of elite professionals in the NSW solutions delivery business.
• Ultimately you will “Own” the major & critical projects within the group from a financial management, mitigation and final delivery point of view. (Both Construction & Service).
• It will be essential you mitigate risk as early as possible and deliver end to end solutions.
• Offer the existing “Projects” team expert support and technical advice.

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Experience in the BMS is a must - You will be the subject matter expert. 
• Project documentation, design, engineering, commissioning and installation of BMS.
• An expert Project Manager with quality system management (ISO 9001) awareness.
• Solid commercial acumen with trade background.
• People Management skills - Being able to build strong internal and external relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as it is a very customer focused role - You will be dealing with National key projects.

Attitude:

Ideally my client is looking for candidates to have Permanent Residency within Australia and possess the following experience:

• Positive leader, strong people management skills running a vital part of the national projects delivery team.
• Have a genuine desire and interest in energy savings, buildings performance.
• Technically minded, positive mentality, presentable and hardworking individual.
