Kolder Pty Ltd has been operating as part of a great Australian success story, servicing clients in the commercial and cottage sectors providing wardrobes and shower screens. The Business Unit Manager is responsible for taking ownership of the role and making it their own, accountable for achieving production targets while maintaining cost controls. At this level, the position has a greater degree of impact on the business results and typically, responsibility for managing a group of professionals.

This role is critical to our continued success and so it is important we find the right candidate.

Key Features of the Role

• Establish and implement a strategic sales and growth plan both within existing accounts as well as identifying new commercial opportunities within the wardrobe and shower screen applicable to retail, high rise and Cottage sectors in the building industry
• Responsible for the overall performance and profitability of your business unit and reporting to the CEO
• In addition to being responsible for sales, the role will also involve the setting of annual budgets, making staffing decisions, resource allocation and cost management
• Manage and mentor a small cross functional team comprising of sales, customer service and technical support
• Proven experience of engaging senior stakeholders to generate successful outcomes
• Proven experience of successfully managing a P&L and driving growth within business units

About you

• At least 3 years of similar Business Unit Managerial experience and the ability to develop and lead high performing teams
• Knowledge of shower screen and wardrobe products would be looked upon favourably
• Must have the drive to identify and fully follow through all potential market opportunities to grow the existing business
• Solid knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite
• WHS Focus
