Our client is a world-leader in Agricultural research and innovation, with an immediate need for an experienced Business Support Manager join their Canberra team. Working directly to the General Manager of Operations, the Business Support Manager is responsible for facilitating improvements to the organisation’s core operating environment and systems, and ensuring the ongoing effectiveness and appropriate governance of those systems.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in improving and managing business systems and processes.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking ability and the capacity to leverage external expertise to deliver value and advice.
- Proven ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to write high level briefs and papers.
- Highly developed presentation, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to influence, motivate and develop others.
- Proven experience coaching, mentoring and developing teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Demonstrated experience in the application of asset and risk management principles.
The successful applicant will hold a relevant tertiary degree, and have at least 4 years of experience in a relevant area, with a proven track record in successful change management and business improvement.
