The College of Indigenous Futures, Arts and Society (one of six Colleges at the University) delivers innovative and contemporary teaching and research in the areas of Humanities & Social Science, Indigenous Knowledges, Languages, Creative Arts, Design, and Humanitarian & Disaster Management.  Incorporated within the College is the Northern Institute, a regional leader in high quality social and public policy research.  Our range of professionally accredited undergraduate, honours and postgraduate programmes cater to students in pursuit of formal qualifications, research careers, and those in pursuit of lifelong learning.  The College aims to be a provider of transformative skills and learning with a major focus on quality, access and growth.

 

As College Manager, you will provide operational management support to the Dean of the College, manage college-level administration, including budget and resource management, and supervision to the administrative staff. Your responsibilities also include contributing to the development and delivery of College and University policies and procedures, and the maintenance of effective internal and external relationships with key domestic and international students.

 

This is a newly created position as the University moves towards a College based structure, you will need to demonstrate agility and flexibility as the structure settles in and be comfortable managing change.

Ideally, you would hold a postgraduate qualification in business management or a relevant discipline, or have extensive management knowledge with relevant experience.  Demonstrated experience in financial planning and management and the ability to deliver positive, innovative solutions to complex strategic and operational issues is essential. Experience working in a health or human sciences would be well received.
