This Pharmaceutical organisation, located in Country Victoria, is a stand-alone operation which supply to the global pharmaceutical industry, they are leaders in market share, quality, reliability, and customer partnership.
This organisation encompasses agricultural operations, manufacturing across multiple sites, third-party sales to global customers, and associated multi-tier research and development operations.
The Role
This role will be responsible for:
- Having full accountability for the management and direction of all manufacturing operations in Australia, including Production, Engineering, EHS, OE, and Supply Chain and Production Planning with overall responsibility through direct supports for Quality Assurance, HR, Technical Development, Finance, Business Excellence, Agricultural Operations, Sales and IT.
- Monitoring the Company's financial targets and operation strategies, including reviewing and evaluating target reports.
- Providing leadership, co-ordination and strategic and operational direction for Australia so as to maximise sales revenue and profit through the manufacturing and selling of the Company's opiate alkaloid products.
- Developing and implementing both sort-term and long-term business strategy.
- Leading senior management and providing support and supervision where required.
- Consulting with senior management, Board of Directors and key stakeholders.
- Representing the Company during official functions.
The Candidate
- Minimum of 15 years' experience with a reasonable portion of time in a managerial position in a Chemical, Pharmaceutical or related industry.
- Involvement in strategic business planning and development, financial management and manufacturing operations.
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Background in finance and business development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
