The Divisional CEO has already started this journey with key leaders by implanting his vision and strategy to grow the business. He is looking for a partner who can share his passion and implement the business plan and strategic direction, also driving the commercialisation of new products across both channels. This means you will need to have exposure to the full NPD life cycle from conception through commercialisation.

Reporting to the Divisional CEO, you will be expected to deliver the numbers and seek out opportunities to develop and grow the business sustainably. This includes building capability & leadership across all sales and operations functions. In this organisation people really matter, so your strengths in coaching and building the right talent will be the foundation of your success in this demanding role.

You’ll need to bring proven leadership credentials across manufacturing, supply chain, product development and sales & marketing functions, supported by a passion for leading others through a journey of growth and acquisition. You will already be a general manager in a complex business of $50M plus, with a track record of achieving tough growth targets with products that have a technical or industrial base.

You must be tertiary qualified and be able to switch between operational and strategic mindsets and it is essential that you have experience with both OEM and aftermarket products. Politically astute, you will have led a truly cross-functional leadership group across a number of departments. While you will have come up through the sales function, ideally you will also have managed a manufacturing operation or at least have been intimately involved in continuous improvement within that function.

Salary package will be in the region of $200,000 TEC with bonus potential on top.
