Reporting to the Employment Services DES General Manager, your focus on strategy development and innovation will be utilised effectively in this rewarding position to:

  • Lead, motivate, and support the Victorian team, ensuring that a positive and dynamic culture is maintained 
  • Drive a culture of quality service provision, ensuring that employment targets are achieved across Victorian sites
  • Establish, monitor and review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and support, coach and provide feedback to your Victorian team to achieve individual and team KPIs
  • Interpret and action reports submitted by stakeholders including government bodies and senior management, and implement strategies for each region in response
  • Communicate and deliver strategies to the Executive Leadership team
  • Provide sound advice on escalated issues involving employees, systems, performance and trends
  • Be the point of contact and support for your managers in regards to any escalated issues from the operational level 

What we need from you

  • Minimum 4 years experience in a senior management role (Disability Employment Services)
  • Proven track record of leading strong performing teams
  • Thorough understanding of government employment services contracts, policies and procedures
  • Determination and the passion to succeed in a competitive employment services market
  • Current driver's licence and access to your own vehicle 
  • Some interstate travel will be required on occasion.
