Full Time Position

North Eastern Community Hospital is a fully accredited Private Hospital and Aged Care facility in Campbelltown, Adelaide. Located only 8km from the CBD, the hospital has 47 day beds, 2 theatres, 1 procedure room and serves more than 7,000 admissions and 500 births per year. The aged care facility has 84 licensed beds providing high level residential care and respite services.

An opportunity now exists for a Director of Commercial Operations to join the team.

This is a full-time position and will suit a highly organised, customer focused individual who will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives. 

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer as part of the Executive Team, the successful applicant will provide business and financial analysis and reporting, income contract management and oversee administration systems as well as lead the operations non-clinical departments.

The responsibilities and duties of the positions include:

  • Business analysis and strategies which improve financial efficiencies, and operational performance
  • Budget preparation and monitoring
  • Financial and non-financial performance reporting
  • Service contract and Grants management
  • Manage ICT systems processes and capabilities across the organisation

The successful candidate will ideally possess the following:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in Business Management, Financial Management or Accounting and Business Administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation of complex budgets, financial monitoring and analysis and KPI reporting.
  • Proven experience in leading, motivating and developing a team.
  • Experience in managing people including performance management, teamwork and professional development.
  • Excellent skills in oral and written communication, report writing, proposals and other business planning documentation as well as conducting meetings.
  • Excellent problem solving ability, analytical skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Experience in the Health/Aged Care sector and contemporary issues relating to those sectors would be an advantage.
