The company

Marist180 (www.marist180.org.au) is a not-for-profit organisation committed to creating positive change for vulnerable young people and their families. Marist180 has been successful in its application to deliver the Intensive Therapeutic Care contract (replacing Out of Home Care in NSW), in Western Sydney, South West Sydney, Orange, Newcastle and Wollongong.

The position

As a member of Marist180’s Senior Leadership team, you will work in collaboration with other members to achieve both strategic and operational objectives. This is a critical position for Marist180 and holds accountability for the successful implementation and delivery of the new Intensive Therapeutic Care contract across NSW.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct management of Therapeutic Care senior staff and an overall staff complement of approx. 200 personnel across multiple portfolios
  • Contributing to and following quality, risk and accreditation systems – particularly those relating to disability standards, mental health standards and child safe standards
  • Services delivered are in line with Marist180 policies and procedures, ensuring strengths-based Recovery Oriented practices are adhered to
  • Achieving growth and business development targets
  • Identifying and proactively managing partnerships, both within and outside of the agency
  • Enhancing the lives of staff and the people we serve through coaching, training, skills development and supervision; delivering therapeutic frameworks into practice.

The candidate

Can you:

  • Lead and execute trauma informed care including explicit knowledge of restricted practices, behaviour support plan development and collaborative engagement with allied health providers on a Service Level Agreement basis?
  • Develop new business operations systems and organisation-wide frameworks?
  • Lead and be accountable for business unit performance including financial management, contractual compliance and workforce management?

Marist180 is are excited to receive applications from high achievers who can contribute to the development and growth of all our current and new programs. We are looking for a goal-oriented and resourceful individual who has a minimum of degree level qualifications in Social Work or Psychology. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years senior leadership experience, with prior experience supervising staff in therapeutic roles.
