UNITING SA
Together we can
BOARD DIRECTOR
UnitingSA is a dynamic organisation, committed to improving wellbeing, enlivening communities, and enriching lives.
Founded in 1919 by the Methodist Church, today UnitingSA (formerly UnitingCare Wesley Port Adelaide) assists over 13,000 people every year across housing, aged care, and community services. Working within the ethos of the Uniting Church we operate in over 30 locations across metropolitan and rural South Australia.
At UnitingSA we value diversity of thought and experience and believe that our inclusive and collaborative culture contributes to our success.
We invite applications from interested persons for two Directorships on the UnitingSA Board. Both Directors will be appointed for an initial term of three years. There is a nominal remuneration.
Applications are sought from appropriately experienced and qualified individuals:
* Board Director - Finance - this will include the position of Chairing the Finance and Audit Committee;
* Board Director - Aged care, housing and/or community services, strategic policy and business skills.
We are looking for people who have expertise in one or more of the above areas and will bring passion, commitment and energy to the Board. Commitment to the ethos of the Uniting Church is essential, however membership of the Uniting Church is desirable rather than essential. Successful candidates will ideally possess a sound knowledge of contemporary governance frameworks. Australian Institute Company Directors qualifications would be advantageous.
If you would like to help UnitingSA continue to achieve its vision and mission and have the commitment and skills to support our work, please submit your expression of interest for consideration.
