This role will be responsible for delivering leading class Payroll Service Delivery across multiple Divisions and Functions in Woolworths.  With a strong focus on people productivity and service excellence, this role will build, coach and develop a customer oriented team that strives to meet agreed service levels whilst continually identifying ways to enhance service quality for the business.

Key role responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of Payroll Operations services against defined service levels to all shared services customers

• Lead, develop and coach a team of shared services staff in achieving a high quality service

• Drive people productivity and high performance through objective & KPI setting for the function

• Manage staffing solutions for high volume peak periods

• Participate in the Leadership team to set strategy, direction & governance

• Work with Shared Services customers to plan and execute ongoing services & projects as required

• Participate in tactical service governance planning, reporting and ongoing forums to discuss service performance and improvements with customers

• Oversee case trends and ensure fast issue resolution for Payroll Services

• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, HR and external bodies

• Collaborate with Service Delivery Leads and HR People Partners in converting strategy, policy and design into process execution

• Monitor service performance for Payroll Operations and partner with the continuous improvement teams to identify improvement opportunities to update, simplify and enhance processes & systems

• Work with other Service Delivery teams, Program Delivery Office, HR People Partners and other functions to deliver seamless end-to-end processes

To be successful for this role you will have the following skills/experience:

• Prior experience leading  Payroll service teams

• 5-10 years SAP/Successfactors functional expertise in Payrun / Operations and Employee Data Management

• Experience in leading Payroll service centre / function implementations

• Strong relationship management background

• End-to-end HR process understanding

• Program management experience
