The opportunity
As a new member of the senior management team of Griffith Enterprise you will work with a highly skilled team of Business Innovation Managers to secure and successfully close business deals with external organisations that result in profitable and sustainable revenue flows through to the University with special emphasis on technology transfer activities. As a senior manager, you will be given the autonomy and responsibility to make a significant contribution to Griffith Enterprise and the University.

This is a fixed term (5 year) full-time opportunity based at the Nathan campus.

About you
For this pivotal and senior role, you have a strong track-record of success in identifying, conceptualising and developing commercial opportunities from a broad range of academic research and teaching assets. You will also have a proven track-record in effectively leading and managing the performance and capability of a professional multidisciplinary team. The skill and ability to bring together research, intellectual property and commercial partners is essential. Importantly, you are experienced in the strategic management of an intellectual property portfolio.

Salary range
An attractive and competitive salary is available for the successful candidate, which can be packaged to include benefits such as a motor vehicle, parking, allowances and flight club membership. The salary package will include a 17% employer superannuation contribution (but can also be taken at 9.5%).
