Federal Government Department Role

Located in Canberra
M&T Resources is currently seeking experienced Business Project Managers to join a Federal Government Department based in Canberra.
The role requires you to work under limited direction and be accountable for undertaking a range of project management activities. You should be able to work in a small team and assist with the coordination and delivery of a new user interface for non-government schools.
A successful candidate will meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Project governance, business scheduling and reporting as required by the Department project board operating under the PRINCE2 framework
- Coordination of business requirements across non-government schools and the departmental stakeholders
- Secretariat for the project working group and support for the senior responsible officer
- Manage project risks and issues from the business side of the project
- Analysing and managing requests from internal business stakeholders
- Understanding, managing and communicating between stakeholder groups, balancing priorities and escalating as appropriate
