What we’re looking for:

As innovators in our market, we’re looking for someone who wants to be part of something new and exciting and also shares our commitment to flexible work and team spirit.  You’ll be comfortable working independently, but also willing to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in to support the team. Our team operates virtually with a regional HQ on the mid-north coast of NSW.

  • Previous experience in a high-growth digital company
  • Proven ability to develop, implement and use technology to improve processes
  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably in business administration, finance or project management.
  • Demonstrated capability to work autonomously
  • Outstanding team skills
  • Strong attention to detail as well as capacity for strategic thinking
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel. Experience with project management and accounting software.

 

The role

You’ll be the CEO’s right hand and an integral part of a small but effective leadership team. You’ll work in partnership with the CEO and other leaders to manage the day-to-day operational functions such as financial management, HR support, continuous improvement activities and administrative projects.



Key Responsibilities include:
 

  • Overseeing overall financial management, planning, systems and controls.
  • Directing annual budgeting and planning process with CEO
  • Playing a significant role in long-term business planning
  • Onboarding new employees, measure and improve employee happiness, implement employee policies and administer payroll and benefits.
  • Developing strategy and operational procedures to streamline company processes and quality
  • Identifying and implementing solutions and improvements to workflows and processes
  • Helping to manage and coordinate teams with various administrative tasks.
  • Planning company offsites, customer events, and team-building events with the Office Manager.
  • Establishing and effectively managing supplier relationships including insurances and other compliance matters
  • Serving as primary liaison to legal counsel in addressing legal issues e.g. copyright, privacy, contracts, partnerships, licensing etc.
