Right now, we are looking for a General Manager - Fiji to help grow our Fiji business by leading and developing the Tower Fiji team to deliver great customer experiences.

This is an influential role which requires a truly collaborative, 'big picture' individual; you will have a network of talented peers located throughout the Pacific and report through to the NZ based GM, Pacific Region.
This is a diverse role, with a combination of strategic and operational responsibility.
You can expect to be involved across a variety of areas including:
- creating and developing sustainable sales pipelines and growing our existing portfolio
- building great relationships and creating customer advocates
- modelling the Tower values and leadership promises; coaching to lift performance and achieving our objectives within your team
- acquiring, developing and managing our talent
- tracking, managing and improving the performance of our business
- planning for future customer and community needs.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- ideally a minimum of 10 years experience in insurance/financial services including senior management and operational experience
- proven leadership skills with a strong engagement focus
- fantastic relationship skills
- well-developed business acumen
- multi-channel distribution experience across direct, banks/partners and brokers
- strategic planning and resource management skills
- the ability to deal with a complex operational environment, undergoing significant change
- the ability to work with and influence government and regulatory bodies.
