Our client
Our client is looking for an EL1 to fill an Assistant Director position. The client is looking for a candidate who has the ability to manage a team, has a positive outlook and works collaboratively with others. This position is based in Canberra.

Your role
Your role will require you to be able to successfully manage competing priorities independently, set priorities and complete tasks for yourself and the team within set timeframes.

If successful your duties with include but aren't limited to:

• Deliver high quality Recruitment and Establishments services that are client focused, aimed at linking the business’ objectives to people outcomes
• Be proactive and responsive to Executive and the Department in relation to recruitment and establishments matters, includes having highly developed interpersonal skills
• Manage relationships with external providers such as Recruitment providers, and Acendre
• Very good knowledge of the eRecruit system andAPS Jobs systems and provide training as necessary
• Prepare briefs for Executive regarding Recruitment Strategies, including mobility strategies. This requires the person to have highly proficient written and verbal communication, and the ability to modify targeted and complex messages to diverse audiences.
• Prepare policies, guidelines and procedures, including reviewing processes and implementing process improvements across recruitment and establishments activities
