An opportunity exists for an inspirational leader based in Broome to provide leadership and management for all St John business areas in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions (North West). You will lead a diverse team of over 480 people including Volunteers, Paramedics, First aid trainers, and Administration staff throughout the region, and are responsible for the management of commercial and operational business outcomes.

With 19 locations within this region encompassing the North West regional office located in Broome and other locations providing vital ambulance and pre-hospital care services to local communities this role would suite a candidate who is seeking a fast paced, dynamic role that has direct impact on the community.      

Key outcomes

  • Lead all St John business areas and operations within the North West
  • Provide transformational leadership to the valued staff and volunteers in the region
  • Ensure the delivery of services are within desired outcomes and budget
  • Further build the reputation of the business as a provider of high quality services
  • Support, develop and enhance the unique St John volunteer model

The attributes and skills required

Specific industry experience is not required. Proven capabilities within people development, service delivery and business management are paramount.

We seek an astute, proactive and team focused leader for this key role. Senior level experience in a diverse customer focused organisation would be an ideal background for this position.  Experience building teams and an understanding of the North West region are important prerequisites. You are required to be located within the region.
