Expressions of interest for this role are invited from individuals with high calibre skills and experience for the role of Non-Executive Director with LogiKal Projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the LogiKal Board as a co-opted director to contribute to the governance and strategic direction of a dynamic organisation.
The Non-Executive Director – (NED) will have five primary responsibilities:
- Provide a broad perspective and creative contribution to the board by providing independent oversight and constructive challenge to the executive directors on issues of strategy, performance and resources including key appointments
- Keep up to date with developments in the company and the relevant business sectors. Leverage one’s own network to both assist with this process and to expand the network of LogiKal as a whole
- Undertaking activities to promote LogiKal as experts in their field – representing them at networking, conferences, presentations, roadshows and overseeing production of sector specific marketing campaigns.
- Ensuring organisation is legally compliant with strong governance and oversight of financials, staffing/people, immediate and long-term risk and the completion of Board actions
- Providing personal mentoring and guidance to the Leadership team, where there is a requirement to do so.
Qualifications Experience
- Director qualification preferred but not necessary
- Experience as a Non-Executive Director and preferably several other complimentary active Non-Executive roles
- Strong understanding of the sectors and niche LogiKal operates in and our service lines
- Ability and experience developing and building business relationships at a strategic level
- Experience or an aptitude for getting the best out of people and creating high performing teams.
Albeit in a Non-Executive Capacity, the NED is expected to proactively support the LogiKal Leadership team in the achievement of their Business Plans and the business objectives overall, taking a best for business approach to any conflicts.
The Board meets four times per year with possible requirement for travel both interstate and internationally
This is an honorary position with reimbursements for any expenses incurred.
