GDR Group, a fast-paced marketing company that specialises in local area marketing and storytelling for brands that operate across Australia is growing and we need more sales people.

But not just anyone! We want people who are new to sales but hungry, ambitious, eager to learn and willing to do what it takes to grow and succeed (our company and themselves).

  • We are committed to training you and teaching you how to be a gun in sales.
  • We are offering two year trainee programs to those who are straight out of school or who have never had any sales experience, and more streamlined programs for graduates who have some experience.

As a new recruit you will work closely with our wider sales and marketing team in a fast-paced environment, identifying and developing sales opportunities, selling across our suite of traditional and digital media solutions.

Step 2: Your Role in the GDR Machine;
Step 3: The Sales Process;
Step 4: Sales 101;
Step 5: Lead Generation;
Step 6: Appointment Setting;
Step 7: Rapport Building;
Step 8: The Offer;
Step 9: The Negotiation;
Step 10: The CLOSE!

You will also learn to:

  • Manage a sales database, ensuring all calls are logged accurately, including contact details, result of calls, and any follow up dates or other action required.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with potential and existing customers.
  • Effectively cross-sell and up-sell across the company suite of products.
  • Consistently build on client knowledge and strategy to effectively position solutions
  • Provide administrative support when necessary.
  • Effective use of CRM for lead and opportunity management

This is a KPI driven position where you will be required to meet or exceed sales expectation.

We are seeking candidates who have great communication and interpersonal skills and a keen interest in further developing a career within sales.
