Account Manager - Oyster industry
Australia's Oyster Coast Private is company based in NSW providing Australia's finest oysters to the food service industry. The position of Account Manager Sales NSW reports to the National Operations Manager and is responsible for all aspects of oyster sales for Greater Sydney region, Central Coast and ACT.
The successful applicant must have a "can do" attitude and be responsible for developing new business and closely servicing our existing clients across multiple channels. Your experience will demonstrate proven history of all aspects of business development and account management.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maximise territory sales to achieve and exceed budget targets
- Develop new business in line with company strategy
- Build and maintain strong long-lasting client relationships
- Actively look to contribute to overall company sales strategy
- Report on account compliance and Key Account metrics
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions to customers’ needs
- Conduct training and oyster education customer workshops
- Meet minimum customer call cycles and reporting
Key Selection Criteria:
- Preferred knowledge within seafood and or hospitality industry
- Sound knowledge of business development
- A proven track record of achieving targets and exceptional sales performance
- Demonstrated aptitude in negotiating and closing sales
- Ability to present to clients at a senior level
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to work collaboratively within a team environment and autonomously
- High observable level of customer service standards
- Experience showing ability to report in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ability to use initiative, self-motivated with a clear focus on effective planning, time management and decision-making.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel when necessary
Qualifications:
- Current Drivers Licence – mandatory
- Tertiary qualifications (preferred)
- Computer literate using Microsoft Office software inc CRM
- Remuneration Package Salary, vehicle, phone, laptop - Commensurate with experience
