We are currently seeking a State Sales Manager. This South Australia based Sales role is responsible for acquiring new accounts along with the retention and development of existing accounts. We are continually striving for further business excellence and innovative initiatives.

As the face of Veneziano, this role is critical to our growth and the Veneziano brand.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong and effective sales skills in negotiating and closing deals;
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans in response to market activity;
  • Motivation, a sense of initiative and strong business acumen;
  • Analytical mindset with accurate record keeping, reporting and administration;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and relationships quickly;
  • A high level of organisation, time-management and problem-solving skills;
  • The ability to work both as part of a wider national team and autonomously;
  • Sttrong knowledge of hospitality, café operations and the speciality coffee industry;
  • Passion and thirst for coffee knowledge and excellence.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Act as the primary contact for all S.A state sales activity;
  • Drive customer acquisition and revenue growth targets, with the objective of maximizing commercially viable business outcomes;
  • Retention of existing customer base, providing outstanding customer service and maximizing opportunities for business growth;
  • Build long-term strategic business relationships throughout the coffee industry utilizing these relationships to identify and win new accounts;
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts, provide insight to the business on new offerings and competition status, provide state-specific strategic insight and planning;
  • Lead and develop a team of passionate, engaged and successful staff;
  • Track, collate and interpret sales figures, analysing data to identify sales opportunities.
