About the business
Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer of quality Multi-Residential Fitouts, including but not limited to shower screens, wardrobes, mirrors & splashbacks. For over 40 years they have been renowned for their superior products, service and installation.
They now seek the services of a hard-working and honest Melbourne based Key Account Manager / Business Development Manager / Area Manager / Territory Manager /Sales Executive to manage existing key relations (and grow their share of wallet) with many of their small, medium and large multi-residential / project builders & contractors and drive their growth objectives across the Eastern Seaboard.
About the role
Given their creditability and reputation for delivering a wide variety of high quality projects, this exciting newly created position will see the successful sales professional maintain, create, drive and execute a sales strategy that is focussed on both increasing existing revenue streams and securing growth with new business generation along the Eastern Seaboard (Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra & Brisbane).
Skills and Experience required
- A minimum of 5+ years sales experience from within the custom joinery OR cabinetry, glass, kitchen, bathroom, interior fit out, project management, building & construction OR similar markets
- Market knowledge and existing contacts within the multi-res project builders and contractors
- Honest, ethical and deliver on all promises
- The ability to work in an energetic, dynamic, structured team environment
- Exceptional attention to detail, communication, presentation and time management skills
- Sound commercial understanding and contract negotiation skills
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex solution selling environments
- A demonstrable track record of growing long term, profitable, valued relationships with your customers
- The ability to travel interstate and manage multiple states/territories
