About the business and the role
We are an Optus Dealer locally owned and Operated and part of the Network Communications group who have been Optus' longest standing dealer group.
We are looking for a Casual Sales Associate who if performs well, will be provided with more hours accordingly.
If you genuinely love helping people find solutions and get a kick out of it, this position may be for you. (Make sure you tell me in your cover letter that you get a kick out of helping people).
Job tasks and responsibilities
All tasks will be expected to be completed at a high level. Helping our customers with a smile and honest knowledge is a must. Being able to strive for targets individually and as a team. Completing training and other tasks as instructed. Handling legal contracts with privacy. Booking in stock. Merchandising store. Answering phones. Organising packages for couriers. Dealing with happy and unhappy customers with understanding and empathy. Generally being enthusiastic about all parts of how our business runs and being a part of it.
Skills and experience
We are looking for someone with Proven sales experience, understanding KPI's and striving to exceed these continually while looking after our customers needs at all times.
Being a fast learner, or able to easily retain information is very helpful in our fast paced industry. We have our own on the job training we do in store. Having a friendly personality and a love for people is essential for this role. Computer skills and ability to use the internet is also needed as most of our work is done on computers.
