As an Account Manager for QLD based in Brisbane you will work with a motivated team to champion our infusion systems range. Working with our internal Infusion team as well as external stakeholders you will build strong and value adding relationships with our key opinion leaders, customers and end users. Managing your territory as your own business, you will take full responsibility for all activity in your territory and will drive sales results.

This is a 12 month Maternity leave contract and will require some regional travel across the QLD territory and other states.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Engage internal and external stakeholders to deliver on plan
  • Manage your territory as if it were your own business
  • Establish, implement and review a territory plan including goals and specific actions.
  • Effectively build and manage relationships with key customers along the continuum from end-users to c-suite
  • Maintain an accurate and current CRM database of all accounts including activities, opportunities, risks and customer contact details
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Provide management with information on activity in the market place including competitor activity, product assessment and industry trends
  • Attend relevant industry trade shows, conferences and meetings as required

 

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Evidenced business Acumen and commercial awareness
  • Clinical nursing experience, preferable within ED, ICU or Oncology & experience with infusion therapy
  • Previous sales experience
  • Ability to deal with multiple priorities and short time lines from time to time
  • Tertiary degree in a commercial discipline (Commerce, Marketing etc.) highly regarded
  • Demonstrated competence in computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
  • Problem solving ability and demonstrated examples of innovative solutions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
  • Ability to interpret and maximize use of clinical data
  • Excellent presentation skills

 

The person who functions in this role must have tenacity and be highly self-motivated. This person will also demonstrate strong self-learning abilities and be abreast of current issues in the health care arena. You will flexible with your time and will appreciate work/life balance and are available to undertake regional and interstate travel. As part of the Sales and Clinical team this person also needs to have a good sense of the commercial picture and the desire to be part of a team as well as a flexible approach to satisfying customer needs.
