About the role
To identify, target and win new business through proactive prospecting and pipeline development within the small to mid-market sales sector.
Overall responsibility will focus on management of a blend of existing clients and creation of new opportunities. The overall objective of this position is to ensure the organisation is well positioned in the marketplace achieving projected sales in our target markets. The measurement of success of this position will be through client satisfaction, new client acquisitions and sales volume.
Critical Results
- Current customer account spend targets are achieved or exceeded
- Sales KPI's are met or exceeded
- Activities are documented in ConnectWise and are accurate and complete
Responsibilities
- Proactive identification, targeting and acquiring of new business.
- Scheduling and attending face to face meetings with key decision makers and influencers to win new business
- Develop business plans and tactics to meet company goals, including new client growth and existing client expansion and retention
- Use consultative selling skills to identify customer needs and develop value add proposals and pricing development in line with Company standards, policies and procedures
- Demonstrate the positive advantages of a wide portfolio of products
- Deliver and maintain high standards of professionalism, conduct, customer service and customer administration at all times
- Working with team members to facilitate the transition of account responsibility, ensuring accurate and cost effective implementation
- Maintain accurate customer records including licenses, warranties, support and software expiration dates, and customer contact information
- Keep customer activities and interactions up to date in a timely and accurate manner via company CRM.
- Remain cognisant on new product and industry developments at all times, will involve completing all vendor sales training.
- Join regional associations/industry groups to network with industry & peers
General
- Adherence to all relevant WHS and Environmental legislation and relevant ONGC Systems procedures
- Be available for all training sessions and meetings organised by ONGC Systems
