Job description:

Due to increasing demand for engineered temporary works solutions on our civil, infrastructure and construction sites, we are actively searching for a high calibre Installation Manager who can demonstrate experience in site/project management.

Working across our high profile projects, this role will be responsible for program and project managing installations for specialised structural support products on customer sites across Melbourne.

This position is supported by and works with our experienced Engineering and Technical team who understand the importance of collaboration in a customer focused, high performance environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the end to end installation of proprietary temporary works products whilst working closely with the client ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, Australian Standards, local regulatory bodies , the building code and internal policies and procedures.
• Develop and supervise the preparation of install methodology, sequencing and quality assurance to ensure compliance with design documentation.
• Develop and foster strong working relationships with clients keeping them informed of progress, anticipated delays and/or variances.
• Management and supervision of all sub-contractors during the installation process.
• Foster a working relationship with operations and sales to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer expectations.
• Providing site specific input to the Engineering and Technical team to enable optimal design and installation methodology.
• Work with the sales and Engineering and Technical team in managing the quotation process for the installation of specialised equipment.

About You:

• Strong commitment to safety and quality and must a good understanding of developing ‘SWMS' for every project.
• Solid experience working on ‘tier 1' contractor projects.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in the installation of structural systems and building services across multidiscipline products and services.
• Demonstrated experience in ‘hands on' program and project management for projects on multiple sites.
• Solid analytical & problem solving skills supported by excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Ideally you will have a background in installation of proprietary support systems or fabricated structural steel projects.
