We want to hire a BDM who can talk the talk with businesses owners. To be successful in our high-performance business, you will arrive with the relevant sales, hunting and customer management experience that showcases your past achievements.

This role is supported by a regional and national sales manager who has extensive experience in our business and will act as your coach and mentor.  Our business is in the B2B space and requires sales people with strong ability to mix with savvy business owners.  Most likely, you will come with marketing awareness and can self-manage your infield activities.  Your role is outdoors chasing appointments and maximizing your dedicated appointment setter to help target suitable businesses for you to present our success story and close the deal.

We believe in long term relationships and have a nurturing program to develop and help our customers grow their business through other likeminded businesses.

Like all BDM's, you carry a sales target, but that is to be expected right!  There are a few other things in your day job that will help us grow our business and keep you busy:

  • Find and sign merchants to Bartercard
  • Building business relationships and educate our customers
  • Work with your portfolio of customers to help grow their businesses
  • Host customer functions (don't worry, you will be supported with organizing these)
  • Be our area brand ambassador in your assigned region

  • Proven sales and customer management background in B2B
  • Confident people person and comfortable working in a fast pace modern company
  • Of course you will have business acumen and the skill to identify new opportunities
  • Show us your sales negotiation skills
  • You need to have your own car for sales appointments and member visits
