The Role

This newly created Sales Executive role is direct with the client decision maker. You will play a pivotal part in identifying market opportunities in surface mining safety technology solutions. Minetec has recently secured significant direct contracts in this space and goes direct to market. This role presents with opportunities for the Sales Executive to use their initiative and customer focus to make a lasting impact in the market.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Identify and prioritise opportunities for the expansion of Minetec product sales.
  • Generate and cultivate new customer relationships.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans to broaden access into mining companies.
  • Support and be involved in advertising, promotion and trade shows.
  • Develop opportunities directly with site and corporate customers.
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and meet KPI’s to ensure continued business growth.
  • Partake in industry bodies focused on safety initiatives and build networks in that space.
  • Flexibility in working hours and ability to travel interstate and internationally on an ad-hoc basis.

 

Skills and Experience

You will be degree qualified in Business, Marketing or Management with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a commercial resource sector or safety focused technology solutions. Your exposure to mining or a related technical field would be an advantage. As a proven sales professional you will be customer oriented and highly motivated to understand customers’ perspective and think win-win.
