This is a business who are breaking ground across Australia in the Retro-fit LED Lighting & Solar space to Commercial & Residential clients. They have now geared up plans to be the market leader in the residential sector in NSW as the Energy Efficiency Savings Scheme has now opened up the marketplace for residential homes to also be able to upgrade their whole houses lighting for a subsidised and exceptionally cheap amount resulting in a 90% reduction in lighting running costs and contributing to a better world environment.

The position

The role you are looking at is an very exciting and huge opportunity to head up the division for NSW. The position is going to be managing a strong team of Sales Representatives who will be giving access to this phenomenal solution to the residential market in Sydney, which without a doubt is going to be snapped up quickly and eagerly as its at barley no cost to the end user and gives them the chance to save huge money, its basically a no brainer.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Sales management of a team of around 20 Sales Representatives
  • Hands on strategising, mentoring and coaching
  • Working in closely with the directors for marketing & sales development
  • Full scope to build and recruit your own team
  • Lead a new ground breaking solution offered to the NSW market

The experience needed

To be considered for this position it is imperative that you have had Door 2 Door marketing Sales Management experience in which you have managed a sales force of multiple sales reps. This experience could come from various areas of electricity, solar, gas, LED lighting, telco or various other ends. Other than the tangible experience in that area, you will also need to be in possession of:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • High energy, self drive & motivation
  • The ability to successfully motivate and guide a team
  • High levels of EQ & IQ
  • Prior sales track record of achievement
