An exciting opportunity exists for an individual experienced in the area of Specialist Technical Sales is needed to join our Mackay office to assist and grow our current and prospective client base, we are ideally looking for someone who has strong sales skills together with great communications skills as in this role you will be spending your time out on the road having face to face meetings with customers and delivering value-based outcomes to both customer and to Bunzl Outsourcing, we are looking for someone perhaps selling specialist products to the mining/oil and gas industries that’s looking for their next career move, or you are an account manager for a large technical key client selling bearings / hydraulic hoists / rigging equipment /engineering components or something similar.
We are looking for a result orientated well organised, sales superstar that stands out from the crowd.  

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE!
  • Identify value to the customers & distinguish the difference and benefits in price vs overall business value to the customer
  • Establish & maintain mutually value adding partnerships and secure long-term business with new & existing customers
  • Development and maintenance of a solid sales pipeline and qualified leads against company criteria for customers that are an ideal fit for our business
  • Develop and maintain key account call planner that then identifies opportunities to deliver our customers value and improve their overall buying experience.
  • Foster internal relationships with key stakeholders to ensure we continue to deliver market leading products and solutions to new and existing clients on time and in budget.
OUR IDEAL PERSON!
  • Demonstrated solid experience within a Business Development or Account Management role with a strong customer service ethic
  • Have a strong track record in achieving exceeding sales targets
  • Have intermediate computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Be personable, accessible, energetic and proactive in engaging with customers from various backgrounds and levels.
  • Be able to work cooperatively within a larger team whilst being able to demonstrate the desire to achieve results autonomously in the field
  • Experience in the mining/oil & gas industries would be highly regarded.
  • Knowledge of lifting and rigging equipment, PPE and clothing and or Height Safety equipment would be highly regarded.
