Position Summary: In this role your focus will be to retain and grow existing accounts whilst growing the overall revenue through business development activities. This position focuses on providing exceptional Sales and Account Management to Banks, ISO’s, resellers and retailers with payment solutions that meet current requirements including working closely with these customers to identify and sell solutions that service their future requirements.

You are required to be a highly effective communicator at all levels. You will own resolving various customer issues and will participate in critical negotiations with key customers.

Your Essential Responsibilities:

• Maintain excellent account relationships and drive customer outcomes.

• Identify priority customer targets and develop strategies to penetrate those accounts.

• Understand and promote the Verifone product range to both new and existing accounts

• You will ensure that sales goals are met and exceeded.

• Hold accountability for orders, sales according to agreed targets.

• Create and maintain Strategic Account Plans for top customers.

• Maintain and keep Sales Force current with all sales activities

• Be the key point of contact between Verifone and the customer for all requirements.

• Direct customer needs to internal resources and ensure that appropriate support is provided to address issues and requirements.

• Escalate issues that are reported and work with appropriate team members to address any concerns. Manage the interaction with the customer’s team and Verifone resources.

• Provide support to internal team members as required to ensure that we can utilise resources as effectively as possible and cover opportunities that may require additional support.

• Attend meetings and engage others that need to be involved to support the customer’s requirements, prepare and deliver relevant presentations and drive reporting requirements.

• Ensure workload is managed and customer is updated on timing and any issues

• It will be important for you to handle contractual proposal preparation and contract negotiations, and you bring this type of experience to the table.

• You have a passion for sales and love making customers happy with the right payment solution.

Knowledge and Experience:

• 5+ years’ experience working within the banking/ payments/ ICT industry.

• Successful sales background and strong selling skills including “as a service” solutions

• Exceptional relationship management skills.

• Strong Legal and Commercial acumen

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.

• Demonstrated ability to use sound judgment and business acumen.

• Demonstrated ability to interact with external and internal customers at all levels.

• Demonstrated ability to prepare and manage business plans and steer business requirements through an organization.

• Strong understanding of service and warranty entitlement and dealing with customer services issues.
