We are a long established, leading importer and distributor of car audio, aftermarket automotive accessory and connectivity products to the retail market in Australia and NZ (with brands including AERPRO, Gator, Crystal M and Thinkware) and now seek an enthusiastic, vibrant person to join our small internal sales team. You will work full-time Mon - Fri in a modern, clean environment in our offices situated at Braeside, Victoria and will have a passion for sales, a willingness to learn about innovative automotive products and love communicating with people.
The role involves taking orders over the phone, fax, email or EDI and input of data into our computer for processing. You will be part of our team which is the first point of contact for our customers for placing orders and seeking product information. You will become involved in sales programs, introduction of new products, planogramming and supporting our external sales team throughout Australia. Please note this job is NOT a telemarketing role and you will not be required to undertake cold calls seeking orders.
You will report to the Internal Sales Co-Ordinator, who is part of your small team and you will work autonomously.
The successful applicant must have an understanding of, or had a background or experience in car audio installations in order to provide specialised advice to our customers and gain a good understanding of our products.
You should be a self starter, computer literate, accurate and attention to detail, good phone manner, pleasant personality and interested in dealing with people with potential and willingness to grow within our company.
Training will be provided and commencing salary range will be $50k -$55k (plus Super and Bonus) depending on experience.
