Are you a Sales Professional with trade experience in the Plastering Industry and Mandarin Language Skills?
 
Our Client is a supplier of Tools, Compounds and Accessories to the Plastering Industry. Proudly, they boast the largest range of automatic plastering tools in Australia and the biggest brands including Columbia Tools, Tape Pro and NorthStar Tools. As a result of company growth, they are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager with plastering trade experience and Mandarin language skills to cover the Sydney Metro region. 
 
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business through sourcing and converting sales opportunities and forming strong professional relationships with local distributors, trades customers and large commercial contractors within the Plastering Industry. This is a 50/50 phone and field based role, where you will be generating leads through cold calling methods and meeting potential customers to demonstrate the product range and negotiate sales in person. This is an ideal role for a former Plaster who has recently moved away from the tools and into a sales role. 
 
 
As the Business Development Manager you will;

• Increase business sales through growing existing customer sales and generating new business; sourcing and converting leads
• Actively drive all promotional and marketing activities to achieve individual and company sales targets
• Develop strong and profitable relationships with local distributors, trades customers and large commercial contractors 
• Manage customer quotations and ensure accurate and timely order processing and delivery practices    

 
The Successful Candidate will have;

• MUST HAVE: Fluent Mandarin speaking language skills and a NSW Drivers Licence 
• Understanding and knowledge of the Plastering Industry, Tools, Compounds and Accessories
• A customer focused attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Self-motivated and target driven professional who is able to work autonomously
• Have an understanding of sales budgets and management of a full sales cycle from lead generation to close of sales 
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite
