Recent regional reorganisation has led to several exciting opportunities but most urgent is the need to employ an experienced Pursuit Lead to drive the bids and tender process with high creativity and the ability to tell an engaging story.

Your role:

  • Develop winning communication strategies such as pursuit documents, presentations and other sales and marketing communication tools to win new clients
  • Lead pursuit efforts by facilitating appropriate face-to-face meetings between selected firm representatives and the potential client, sometimes participating in client-facing meetings including win/loss debriefs
  • Your outstanding business acumen will be utilised to create strong credibility at all levels within your team, internal circles of influence and customer
  • You will be expected to advise and strategically contribute when and where required during each phase of the sales process

The role requires an industry experienced professional who can expect a package in line with the demands and expectations of the role.

Due to the specific nature of the role, only individuals with relevant skills will be considered:

  • Extensive experience in a business development environment which must include substantial pursuit management experience and the application of pursuit sales methodology
  • Demonstrated knowledge writing compelling executive summaries (and other sections) to persuade potential clients
  • You have a strong understanding of the solutions sales process and are well versed in enterprise selling methodologies with an ability to bring positive process change to your team.
  • You can drive and coordinate large tender opportunities.
  • You have strong customer relationship skills, with experience in interfacing with customers at Executive / Director (Cxx) level on a regular basis.
  • Your education history will include a Bachelor’s degree (minimum) with Business Administration, Marketing, or Computer Science major a plus.
