Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of apparel and accessories world wide, under licensed brands, owned brands and private label brands. With excellence in product development, sourcing, quality control, design, e-commerce, in-store execution and wholesale the business has seen strong growth across its core brands. Due to growth in the Asia Pacific region they are now looking for a highly motivated and driven Business Development Manager to manage all of Australia.
Description
- Achieve annual and long term business revenue targets for Australia
- Identifying and securing new business nationally with distributors, retailers and franchisees
- Ensure new stores (retailers & franchisees) are opened in a timely manner, with appropriate branding and stock allocation
- Oversea and check all kinds of commercial negotiations, contracts, etc.
- Continually train and develop staff members ensuring all products are highly visible and meeting global standards
- Ensure all regulation and compliance has been completed on time
Profile
- High level of sales experience working with international apparel retail or working with high profile retail brands
- Must have a strong understanding of the local Australian market, selling to retail, distributors, franchisees at a national head-office level
- Proven success in negotiating and developing joint business plans to increase sales and market growth
- High attention to detail with good communication and presentation skills
- Work autonomously and willing to travel when required
Must have tenacity and strong ability to grow business and be passionate about working with high profile fashion brands.
