Our client is a Global Digital Marketing Specialist. Due to continued success of their growing APAC business they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their expanding Melbourne office
 
The successful candidate will sit within the Business Development team. They will take ownership of the agency & brand landscape across Australia and work on improving relationships with key Partners and Strategic affiliates, ensuring partners experience of the platform is continually improved and identifying new revenue opportunities. 
 
The Key Responsibilities of the role are:
 
• Developing a deep understanding of the client business and their priorities.
• Manage & develop relationships with key local & regional publisher partners
• Identification of new partners within our client's core verticals (Top 100 digital marketing agencies)
• Migrate partners onto new client programmes
• Provide regular training to premium partners on the platform
• Keep partner and customer information up to date in Salesforce.com
• Exceed partner expectations and contribute to a high level of partner satisfaction
• Produce monthly Partner revenue reports and provide insight into trends
• Use the feedback from publishers managed to identify opportunities to improve our products, services, processes, systems and tools for all of entire publisher base
• First line in partner support ensure best in class service to queries and requests
• Input into sales pitches and client QBRs
• Setup and run events to improve relationships with key publishers
• Share industry knowledge across all teams

 
To be Successful the candidate will be / have:
• Educated to Degree level
• Min. 3-4 years experience in relevant industry 
• Commercial acumen
• Good numeracy
• Excellent communication skills
• Great team player with ability to influence
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Experience of identifying opportunities that have turned into revenue
 
DESIRABLE Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 
• Experience in account management, ideally within Marketing technology, SaaS, online and/ or other marketing/ e-commerce technologies.
• Professional, personable but focused on delivery
• Able to use initiative and creativity to propose solutions that work for the business
• Experience and knowledge of affiliate and/or partner marketing.
• Enterprise client experience in the above sectors
