About the Role
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our team as the Business Development Manager, with uncapped earning potential.  Reporting to the Team Manager and Directors for Sunnybank, the Business Development Manager will actively prospect themselves in order to gain new business for the Place Sunnybank portfolio.

Your primary responsibilities are to grow the portfolio based on your prospecting and new business development plan through to your presentation efforts to potential and pipeline clients as well.  The position will require you to perform leasing activity of such new managements gained including; client management, tenant selection and property advertising liaison with our advertising team.

 

Role Duties

  • Actively prospecting yourself and Place Sunnybank for new business opportunities
  • Processing property enquiry in all facets; via phone, email and face-to-face
  • Opening property for public inspection and attending private inspections as required
  • Assist in receiving and processing tenant applications; including reference checking and Landlord consideration
  • Providing current rental market appraisals
  • Liaise with in house sales agents to prospect potential leads
  • Achieving monthly KPI’s and regularly reporting to Team Manager and Directors
  • On-boarding new managements including preparation & completion of Form 6 and ensuring properties are ready for letting purposes
  • Scheduling and Conducting Saturday open homes (rotated each fortnight) (employee will receive a day in lieu the following week)
  • Support fellow colleagues
  • Liaising with outside contractors
  • Providing 6-star service to all clients 


Skills & Experience

  • Hold a current QLD Sales Registration Certificate and Drivers Licence
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a Business Development Manager or Sales Agent
  • Current property management legislation knowledge
  • First class presentation and communication
  • An ability to thrive while working under pressure
