The Company:
 
My client is a blue ribbon global brand, specialising in electronic security solutions, CCTV, access control and alarm systems for a range of markets including government, commercial, retail and financial. Forming strategic alliances with customers for the long term, they focus on top quality design, install, commissioning and after sales service with an infrastructure to deliver large scale solutions. Due to company growth they now require a technical BDM to join our thriving Melbourne team.
 
The Role:
 
While generating new business sales of our elite products and services, you will also manage some key accounts. Following projects from beginning to end, you will be responsible for quoting and estimating, providing technical advice and working with the Service Supervisors to tailor maintenance solutions to meet customer’s needs. You will assist the Regional Sales Manager and State Operations Manager with identifying and delivering sales proposals in line with their strategies and margin objectives.
 
The Candidate’s Desired Experience:  
 

  • Great electronic security background both technical and sales.
  • An understanding of complete integrations which include: CCTV, access control, proximity and so forth)
  • A strong network of contacts with security consultants, end-users and government.
  • Experience in hunting down major projects over $100K per sale.
  • Tertiary or trade qualifications in an Electrical or Electronic field.
