About the business and the role

Territory Pest Control is a leading independent Territory owned business that has been in operation since 1965.  We are seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to manage our inbound and outbound calls whilst providing our customers with an exceptional customer service experience. The position is based at our Alice Springs office and is available to commence immediately.

This position is diverse but relies on your interpersonal skills to assist inbound callers with sales enquiries, follow up sales leads (existing & new), liaise with field staff throughout the day and manage the job schedule as required.  You are responsible for directly liaising with customers regarding our services and conveying any issues and/or unresolved problems to management to ensure a high standard of customer service is achieved.

The successful applicant for this position will be a quick learner, reliable, capable of working as part of a team and have a positive & friendly attitude.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Schedule and track work for Pest Technicians through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System (maximising time at jobs and reducing travel),
  • Receive inbound customer enquiries and make outbound calls to customers using the CRM, documenting correspondence accurately,
  • Promote Territory Pest Control services to new & existing customers, focusing on achieving branch growth,
  • Keep customers informed of the service progress to ensure customer satisfaction levels are maintained,
  • Assist with a variety of general administration duties.

Skills and experience

  • Sales experience and strong understanding of the sales process,
  • Previous phone based customer service experience required- both inbound and outbound experience is required,
  • Drive and dedication to meet targets,
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with the Microsoft Office Suite,
  • Previous Office experience will be highly regarded,
  • Mature team player with ability to work with minimal direction,
  • Full Australian drivers license,
  • Only Permanent Residents will be considered.

Additional Details

You will be reporting to the Southern NT Manager and will be working within a local team of five, as well as providing support for the Darwin, Tennant Creek and Katherine branches as required.
