Your new company
Our client is a leading supplier of large diesel engines and turbomachines for marine, industrial and stationary applications. They provide customers in the Pacific region with power generation, propulsion and industrial solutions including engines, compressors and turbines, associated components, service, maintenance and spare parts sales.
Your new role
Our client are currently seeking an experienced sales professional to drive the aftermarket turbomachinery spares and service sales throughout the pacific region. You will maintain regular contact with customers to identify and develop sales opportunities with existing customers, whilst also seeking new third party business. Provide sound technical advice, quotations and offers.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven record of achieving sales targets within the rotating equipment or related industries
- Knowledge and/ or experience in the service and maintenance of rotating equipment
- Experience in tendering and bid preparation
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Well-developed negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Willingness to travel
- Experience working with a multinational company may be an advantage
