McClure’s Office Supplies is the one of the largest independently owned and operated Office Supplies companies in Victoria. Our sales office/warehouse, located in Fairfield, a short 7 km from the Melbourne CBD, offers a large range of stocked office products and also runs a fleet of company delivery drivers and offers the ability for personalised same day service.
Due to recent growth and changes in the market place, we are seeking a keen and hardworking Business Development Manager/Account Manager to join our thriving business.

This role offers a base salary with an uncapped commission structure = unlimited earning potential. If you deliver the results, we will reward you accordingly.
The Role
Reporting to the Business Owner, you will be responsible for the profitability, the achievement of set targets and the increase of McClure’s market share.
If you enjoy hunting down new business and converting a mix of opportunity generated through cold calling along with face to face representation of the company to leverage sales opportunities and are eager to work with an internal team who pride themselves on providing an exceptional level of customer service and satisfaction, this role is for you!
Your Day will be spent:
Identifying opportunity for new business through telephone and face to face cold calling;
Increasing wallet spend within existing accounts;
Developing professional relationships with senior decision makers and influencers;
Preparing and conducting presentations to, and negotiations with, customers to achieve growth objectives.
What you will bring to the role:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Development;
Experience within the Office Products, Business Machines or Facilities industry preferred;
Results oriented;
Excellent relationship management and communication skills;
Sharp negotiating skills and an understanding of business financials;
Hungry to succeed and smash targets out of the water;
Professional and polished presentation along with an approachable personality.
