CEM Group has an exciting opportunity available for a Business Development Executive to join the team on a full-time basis.  This is currently under refurbishment and the opportunity to seek new business, build clientele and promote this unique property is something not to be missed!

Reporting to the Property Manager, the position involves identifying, attracting and maintaining corporate clients for the property and the group, including developing sales and marketing plans, identifying and engaging with existing and potential local area accounts, and working with reception/front office staff in lead generation.  The position also involves occasional after hours work to attend networking functions and property familiarisations.

We are seeking a self motivated, sales focused individual, who has a passion for developing and nurturing relationships with existing and potential clients.  Cold-calling experience is a must.  The successful applicant will demonstrate enthusiasm for selling, strong time management, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and a friendly, mature approach to their work.

A proven track record in sales or account management is essential, experience and knowledge of Salesforce software and experience in the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded.  A competitive salary will be offered.

The successful applicant will be joining the team to assist the property to manage and grow the business through the diligent application of the Quest system, utilising the principles of a ‘Founders Mentality’;

Previous experience in a similar role is essential, along with a genuine interest in a career in the serviced apartment accommodation industry.
