About the role
 
This newly created role will lead the Corporate Partnerships teams nationally, reporting into the Executive General Manager. You will be responsible for accurately forecasting and anticipating the resources required for peak internship delivery and national projects. A major focus will be to drive host company acquisition nationally, building the internship opportunity pool beyond what is required for current major partnerships, equalling sustainable and substantial growth.
 
Responsibilities
 

  • Manage a Corporate Partnerships team of 7 - up to 10 with the wider team within 5 states currently. (Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane)
  • Support the drive for significant growth in large partner contracts with education institutions and direct to student sales
  • Designing and developing a national host company acquisition strategy
  • Building partnerships in all states of Australia to open up opportunities to place interns
  • Manage resourcing across all locations to cater for peak periods in different states
  • Support internal stakeholders to ensure acquisition of course aligned roles
  • Understand upcoming cohorts, developing state strategies to ensure 100% on-time targets
  • Drive revenue through the development of genuine value proposition and fees for Internship networked companies
  • Supporting Team Leaders driving task efficiency and account management, removing obstacles for customers nationally
  • Work closely with all internal team members to deliver a driving force in internship capability for all clients.

 
Skills and experience

This role would suit someone with a National Corporate Partnerships, Account or Sales Management position, who has experience within a leadership and business development capacity (knowledge within education is not necessary);
 

  • Team management experience within a sales environment is essential
  • Remote management situations is highly regarded
  • Strategic account management is advantageous
  • Experience in planning and executing large strategic projects
  • Ability to engage, coach and lead others to drive profitable partnerships
  • Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical and numerical minded person
  • Ability to thrive under pressure with results orientation  
  • Strong ability to work autonomously & also collegially across the business
  • A positive and dynamic personality with the ability to move fast!
