About the business and the role

Bathurst Sheds is an experienced Fair Dinkum shed distributor covering the central west who requires a motivated and enthusiastic sales/design consultant to join their growing team.

At Bathurst Sheds we believe the sales role within our company is a very important and vital role in the operation of the business. The sales person is the main person the customer will liase with though out the entire shed or patio construction process.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Greet new customers either in person or on the phone
• Create and design sheds or patios with our shed designing program to our customer's needs
• Complete quotes in a required time frame for our customers
• Be professional at all times
• Able to reach monthly sales targets
• Prompt customer follow ups a must

Skills and experience

This position will suit an experienced sales consultant with a track record in sales. The successful applicant will have the following:

• Extensive sales experience
• Current open NSW drivers licence
• Be computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook and Excel.
• Be professionally presented, with clean and tidy appearance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Can work as part of a team
• High level of mechanical aptitude
• Enjoy interacting with customers
• Excellent decision making skills
• Can think on their feet
